Welcome to KeyStash! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the KeyStash JSON storage API service ("Service") operated by KeyStash ("we," "us," or "our") available at keystashapi.com.

Description of Service

KeyStash provides a JSON storage API service that allows users to store, retrieve, update, and delete JSON data using simple REST endpoints. The Service includes:

User Accounts

Account Creation

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You must be at least 16 years old to create an account
• One person or legal entity may maintain only one free account

Account Responsibilities

• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• You must not share your API keys with unauthorized parties
• You must keep your contact information current and accurate

Acceptable Use Policy

Permitted Uses

• Store legitimate JSON data for your applications and projects
• Use the API within your allocated rate limits and quotas

Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Service to:

Service Plans and Billing

Free Plan

• Limited to 3 JSON keys and 100 requests per day
• Community support through documentation and forums
• Subject to fair use policy

Paid Plans

• Monthly or annual billing cycles
• Automatic renewal unless cancelled
• Prorated charges for plan upgrades
• No refunds for partial months (except as required by law)

Payment Terms

• All fees are in USD and non-refundable except as required by law
• Payment is due immediately upon subscription
• Failed payments may result in service suspension
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice

Data and Privacy

• You retain ownership of your JSON data stored in our Service
• You grant us permission to store and process your data to provide the Service
• You are responsible for backing up your important data
• We implement reasonable security measures but cannot guarantee absolute security
• Our Privacy Policy governs the collection and use of your information

Service Availability and Support

Service Level

• We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service
• Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance when possible
• Emergency maintenance may occur without notice

Support

• Free users receive community support through documentation
• Paid users receive email support with response time targets
• Support is provided in English during business hours

Intellectual Property

• KeyStash and our logo are trademarks owned by us
• The Service and its original content are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws
• You may not use our trademarks without written permission
• You retain rights to your JSON data and content

Service Modifications and Termination

Service Changes

• We may modify or discontinue the Service with reasonable notice
• API changes will be communicated through our documentation and email
• We will maintain backward compatibility when feasible

Account Termination

• You may terminate your account at any time
• We may terminate accounts for violations of these Terms
• Upon termination, your data will be deleted according to our retention policy
• You can export your data before termination
